Question: I purchased [dress style #] and I don't like it at all. It's not what I envisioned what it would look like on me...it does not look at all like it does on the model...it looked a different color on the computer screen... it's too big.... it's too small.... I don't want to pay for alterations... etc., etc., etc. I've sent it back to you & want a refund.Again....
ALL APPAREL SALES ARE FINAL. We do not exchange or refund for items that you do not like or that do not fit [too big/too small] or do not look on you the way it does on the model or that are not "to the tee" colorwise as they appear on the computer screen.
Items that are returned to us will be returned back to you. Refunds will be given only to items that are not in stock by the manufacturer - not on purchased items that you decide that you do not like.
Please keep in mind that just because it looks good on the model in the photo, that it may not look immediately perfect on you. You more than likely will need to do some sort of alterations in order to achieve a perfect fit for your body shape, height and type. The model in the picture is a model - she is perfectly proportionate and
has had that dress fitted to her so that it shows the item off to its best advantage for the photo.
Colors on the computer vary due to computer screen as do designer's dye lots, so expect that the item you receive may be anywhere from 1-2 shades different than what is in the photo. This is normal and is not to be used as a reason for trying to receive a refund.
Not wanting to pay for alterations that are needed is also not a valid reason for returning an item, especially as it has been stated many times over that there may be a chance that there will be some alterations needed in order to receive the perfect for
YOU. If you are unsure about the costs of altering an item, call around to local seamstresses in your area to get a price quote on their services. Many reputable seamstresses are happy to give a "ballpark fee" quote for their work. Any that refuse to give even the most basic run-down of some of their fees and charges will more than likely be the most expensive to go to.
This policy also applies to items that you have requested that we locate that may not be listed on the website as well as to items that are not able to ship immediately in the color or size that you initially want in time for your event's wear date. We will always email you with any updates to your order's status as soon as it comes to our attention and if other choices are available [other colors, other sizes, etc.], we will give you the option to accept or not. By accepting an alternative or "replacement" item, you are accepting the normal terms of sale as we do not send out any alternate items without YOUR permission and agreement.
