The best place to go to have your measurements taken properly would be to an alterations shop or to a reputable seamstress in your area. Be sure that the person you go to is familiar with taking measurements for formalwear since the needed measurements will be different than those needed for everyday apparel. Once you have your measurements handy, then order the size closest to your measurements by following our sizing tips and the sizing chart provided by the designer of the dress you wish to order.
