Help! I measured myself & I fall all over the chart! What size should I order??

Take the largest part of your measurements and find that on the designer's size chart [provided on each item's description page]. This is the size that you order. Don't be concerned with the smaller measurements - it is VERY important that the largest measurement be fitted as fine & couture apparel do not have seam allowances.

It is ALWAYS easier to have something altered in, than to have it altered out. You can make a dress smaller, but in formal wear it is next to impossible to make a dress larger and the cost to do so would be astronomical.

Please keep in mind that all formal wear is cut for a woman who is 5 foot 9 and has a body that is perfectly proportioned. For those of us who are not Barbie dolls or supermodels, it will be necessary to have alterations done in order to obtain a perfect fit. This is normal and does not mean that you are too big, too short or any other negative feeling.

We suggest finding a reputable seamstress or tailor in your area and hiring them to do your "tweaking". Don't be afraid to ask for samples of their work or references if it will make you feel more comfortable before employing their services. Just be sure that you find someone who is experienced with working with formal and/or bridal apparel and that your dress will be able to be fitted to YOUR body shape.

We do need to make clear that we absolutely will not be held responsible for any damages done to any apparel that have been altered - that is between you and the person who did the damage as the dress arrived to you in perfect condition.
